HealthPartners Dental Clinic St. Paul Midway

Everytime we have an appointment here something comes us and they dont tell you things changed until you are there. Been here every 2 weeks for a crown for my son, they poured the mix wrong and now have to redo the last appointment we had that took 3 hours to begin with that we were told that "unfortunately" things didnt go right. They couldn't call and tell me that so I can plan my stuff out with my own schedule as they keep messing up yet called me twice to try to reschedule this appointment for other reasons. And I am writing this review as I'm sitting waiting for my son to be done. If he didn't already have work began on his mouth here we wouldn't even be here. Once this process is done we are 100000% done with this location. I have voiced my opinion and I get told "its only one more appointment ". Well I dont work here and have to take time off to be here. It would be nice if they were mindful of other people's time.

Set an appointment for 4pm. They asked me a few days before to fill out all the new client paperwork and come 15 min before my appointment time which I did. I get there and still wasn't seen till about 4:20 after my examination and xrays I was brought to the front to the front desk to discuss a date to start my first treatment plan..she scheduled me two months out.. not to mention i have a craked tooth thats in pain..I asked for a closer date.She told me that she will talk to them and get back to me.The next day..never heard back from them, i then reached out to them. Call them a handful at times and no one answers the phone. I'm now just moving forward to a new clinic.If you're a new patient, probably be best to stay away from here. Understaffed and long wait times,

I was apprehensive coming into a new dental clinic and seeing some low reviews. I don’t know why there are so many low reviews. I had a wonderful experience. Very kind and professional! Thank you 🙂

HORRIBLE! Do NOT go to this clinic except maybe if you need serious dental surgery. They 100% do NOT care about you at all if you just need routine cleanings or exams. They have pared down their hygienist staff to the point that they have to schedule cleanings a YEAR out, AND they have no problem cancelling on you even if you've been waiting a year for a cleaning. That is what happened to me this morning. I was waiting a year for my cleaning, and then they called the day before and told me they were cancelling and could only fit me in 7 months from now. Be forewarned!!!

My mom has been a longtime client here, but recently they messed up a few times. The biggest one being the removal of her tooth in order to get the partial in with the assurance it would be covered by insurance but ended up not. We filed an appeal and requested the dentist to submit supporting paperwork to insurance and he never did. To top it off, the dentist had moved to a different clinic and my mom never got the temporary partial fixed. This is just purely irresponsible. Save your time and avoid at all costs. We are now trying to have her go to a different clinic.

The front desk staff are slow and rude. My appt was 2:40 I got there at 2:30 and didn’t get to the window until 2:50. They were on their phone talking amongst each other. It’s sad how this clinic front desk staff are not attentive to their guest. When I spoke to the young lady to tell her I had checked in online she was very rude. Also if you’re cold at work get a small heater. It does not look good sitting at a front desk with blankets wrapped around you. Very unprofessional.

First off, the dentists were friendly and helpful. I had a great experience with them. Secondly, the reception staff is the worst of all healthpartners. I've been ghosted, redirected, and screwed out of dentist work. To have them take days to respond to anything and then when I arrive at my appointment it wasn't even what I was looking to get, only to have to wait again for them to take days to respond. If you want to call and make an appointment I'd suggest any other clinic. It'll save you the frustration and time wasted I went through
