This is the best dental office I have ever been to. The entire team, from the front desk staff to the hygienists, dental assistants, and doctors, clearly takes pride in their work. Everyone is kind, attentive, and highly professional. They consistently go above and beyond to provide comprehensive and compassionate care. Dr. Fletcher has always taken the extra time to ensure my dental health is fully addressed and I truly feel like I am in great hands here. I would absolutely recommend this office to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!

I had a great experience at Gentle Dental Capitol Hill. From a process standpoint, everything ran efficiently. My appointment started right on time, which is rare and appreciated. The oral surgeon took a very thorough, no-rush approach in walking me through the procedure. Clear explanation, straightforward expectations, and no ambiguity around what was going to happen. On the business side, their staff did an excellent job breaking down costs. No surprises, no confusion, just a transparent overview of pricing and options. They also took the time to answer every question I had without making it feel transactional. Bottom line: strong execution across scheduling, clinical communication, and cost transparency. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and well-run dental experience in Capitol Hill.

As a person with extreme dental anxiety, I have nothing but praise and never ending gratitude for my team at Gentle Dental Cap Hill! The front desk beauties Katie and Mey are incredibly helpful, kind, quick, and on top of everything! They’re so knowledgeable and skilled at their jobs I can’t thank them enough for helping to get me through various appointments and encouraging me! It made it easier to come back each time despite being incredibly anxious about it each time. They even remembered me after my first visit and it’s always a comfort to walk in and be greeted by them 🙂 Dental Assistant Rachel and Dr.Munoz were my regular team and they are ROCK STARS. I did not make things easy for them either! Often needing breaks, encouragement, talks through what was being done, and twice we even had to change our plan due to me having too high anxiety. They handled my anxiety and tears with such grace and care, never making me feel silly for my fears and were my biggest cheerleaders through it all. They worked so quickly and in synch with each other it made me feel confident in the care I was getting and I always left feeling so grateful. I truly cannot thank them enough for their patience and impeccable bedside manner. Thank you for everything Rachel and Dr.Munoz!

My first initial appointment was about a month ago. The front desk/receptionist was great and very helpful. I had emailed my x-rays from my former dentist weeks before my appointment. I understand that they had to do their own x-rays, which they did. Moments later, someone came in, maybe it was a hygienist or assistant, who told me they spotted a new cavity. It was not a recent cavity, it was a filling. Big difference. This confused me... Did they not look at my previous x-rays that I emailed them? I was told then, I needed my upper wisdom teeth pulled out, a deep cleaning and implants. My upper wisdom teeth do not bother me. The deep cleaning yes. Implants, I am fine without them. It didn't seem like they gave me a choice... and expected me to return within a week or two. This gave me a lot of anxiety. I felt forced to schedule a follow up appointment. I did, though, I cancelled it due to feeling nervous about this whole experience. I wouldn't mind coming back, but perhaps, maybe a different dentist or who ever that person that read my x-rays.

I would give this place zero stars if I could! First off, it was dirty. Dirt and hair all over the ground, broken electrical sockets, dust piles in all the corners. Not what you want a medical establishment to look like. The dental assistant was definitely on maybe her second day max and proceeded to jab around in my mouth for X-rays that had to be redone multiple times. She then blamed it on me by telling me I needed to relax! It was ridiculous! And no one asked me if I was okay with having someone training doing the work. I understand people need to get trained somewhere with someone but there was absolutely no opportunity for me to consent to the situation. After that the dentist came and told me I needed 8 cavities, a root canal, and a mouth guard! I hadn't been to the dentist in a while but knew that was ridiculous. Fast forward 2 months and I went to a different dentist that wasn't a big chain with actual dental HYGIENISTS not just assistants and tell them my experience. They scoffed at this place and referred to Gentle Dental as a mill where they get people in and out quick for the most money. It made sense! After my exam I have only 4 cavities, no need for a root canal, and no need for a mouth guard. This place was bad not just in one area but all of them! Do not go to gentle dental!

Guys, I am totally petrified of Dentists. But the condition of my teeth wouldn’t let me put it off any longer. So I googled and found a place called Gentle Dental. And my goodness, they live up to their name! Everyone I interacted with was so kind. And my Dentist explained I would feel sensitivity due to the procedure. He was truly gentle, easy and slow. And Gentle Dental took my insurance. I hope my future appointments with them is as enjoyable.

Just had my first appointment at Gentle Dental- and I am so impressed! I haven’t been to the dentist in many many years and finally wanted to tackle it and take care of my teeth. From Dr.fletcher to the hygienist (I didn’t catch her name, sorry) they were both so kind and took time to break everything down for me. There was no judgement at all. Truly can’t recommend them enough for scaredy cats like myself!
