I went in for my first time visit and was needing teeth removed. First he jabbed me with the novacaine over and over wasn’t gentle at all. I have bradycardia and I explained that my heart rate and blood pressure drop after procedures. He don’t even care about that. Then when it came to extracting my tooth it wasn’t numb all of the way. He kept asking if it was pressure or pain. I know the difference between the two and it was definitely pain. He gave me more to numb it up. But it didn’t even work and he started to pull the tooth again. He even then tried to give me more numbing but again didn’t wait for it to work before he started to finish pulling the tooth. I felt most all of the work. I am severely traumatized by this experience. It felt like he just didn’t care about how he was acting. He has absolutely no bedside manner at all. Got on an assistant in front of me chewing her out. Come on you don’t do that in front of clients. Overall the experience sucked and was very traumatic and I won’t be ever going there again.
I came in for a root canal and some fillings and felt very comfortable. They made the insurance process and whole visit smooth and easy. I havent gone for a couple of years and didnt feel shamed for needing work and was treated with dignity.
Loving my first experience here. Very little pain, if any at all. Pleasant, helpful staff. The doc and the hygienist were very knowledgeable and patient . Overall, 5 out of 5 stars for this very efficient Dental Care of Portland..
This business has the brightest light directly outside the window of the apartment I live in. They have one that illuminates their business, the street, and the only gate into the property and then they have one in the back corner of their parking lot that is right outside of my window. I have tried reaching out to the business to see if they could turn it off but they declined. I completely understand the need for night lighting for security purposes but there is already a light that is illuminating the property. The second light is in the far back corner at the edge of the property, illuminating my bedroom. It seems like senseless light pollution. How does illuminating the apartment complex wall enhance security when there is no way into the property from that corner? I have tried all sorts of different curtains on my window but nothing keeps the light out. I have been frustrated and losing sleep over this for months. It seems silly to be putting this in a review but I feel powerless and exhausted at this point and I want to be able to do something. Businesses should care about their neighbors.
The dentist is very mean, pushy, doesn't listen to your concerns. I have sensory issues and he was very disrespectful. I told him not to probe me with the metal because my teeth get very sensitive and he did it anyways. Just overall very rude.
Very nice and funny people. Got the job done quickly and cleanly. I would recommend this place 100 percent.
Prabh was a gift from the dental Gods! After messing with my insurance all day every dentist was saying they could not see me until the following day. Not only did she get me in she held the office open 5 mins late for my arrival! X rayed, numbed and tooth pulled in under 30 mins! And some happy pills for the road!
