Grand Street Dental: Dr. Jennifer Plotnick

This was my first time coming to Grand Street Dental and I can truly say I have nothing but incredible things to say about this place - the staff was extremely helpful and kind, and Dr. Plotnick made me feel so cared for as a patient. She spent as much time as I needed to explain the process for Invisalign, and even spoke to my parent on the phone to provide additional information. She was patient, informative, and beyond sweet. The office is also absolutely welcoming and beautifully decorated. You would be crazy not to come here 🦷

Wonderful experience start to finish! The front desk staff was so knowledgable and helpful answering all of my (many) questions. The office is unlike any other dentist I’ve seen! The warmth and art makes it feel inviting and cozy. The hygienist and doctor were both so caring. I actually look forward to my next check up! If you’re looking to a new dentist, I can’t recommend Grand Street enough!

No one wants to go to the dentist, but if you have to then you could not choose for a better place to be taken care of. Seamlessly excellent, considered, caring from the moment you walk in and when finally you leave you know that you were treated exceptionally well.. Outstanding Team that really Get that balance right between nurture and healing just spot on . Oh- and who would’ve thought you could actually walk into a dentist that was so beautifully appointed? A year ago I finished my full mouth rehab, everything went very smoothly and I haven’t had any problems since my treatment, which is remarkable because before my teeth were ground down to the point that the roots were visible and I was constantly dealing with infections from failing root canals, implants etc. I would routinely bite my tongue or cheeks and all this has completely stopped and my bite feels completely natural. I also really like the look of my new teeth, they look completely natural to me. I also want to mention that I’ve never been made feel so comfortable in a doctor’s office as this one. It feels like everyone in the office gets along really well and there is a happy vibe. There were weighted blankets and even sometimes a comfort dog making me feel better. A+

We’ve been going to Grand Street Dental for years, and even after moving out of the area 5+ years ago, we still make the trip back because the care is absolutely unmatched. The entire team is incredibly professional, warm, and genuinely committed to providing an exceptional experience. The office itself is stunning—modern, calming, and nothing like the typical dentist environment. You almost forget you’re at an appointment because the space is so thoughtfully designed. Every visit feels seamless, comfortable, and handled by people who are truly brilliant at what they do.

I came here during the pandemic and made an appointment because I needed an oral surgeon for a dental implant. When I made an appointment and then went in for a consultation on the dental implant, the dentist started putting temporary plaster (I had no clue what she was doing when she was doing it) on my teeth, then told me to look at how well she could sculpt (and how great and youthful I’d look) my teeth if I got $30K in veneers. She tried to sell me on the veneers when I did not come in at all for this. While I’m very happy with work the oral surgeon did, the upselling of $30k of veneers (which I did not ask for a cosmetic consultation) was off putting. I wanted to share my overall experience. I’m much happier with my current dentist who would not give cosmetic recommendations unless I asked for it.

It’s incredibly refreshing to go to a dentist that genuinely puts the patient first. Grand Street Dentistry has completely changed how I feel about dental care. I never feel rushed, upsold, or ripped off — instead, I feel fully taken care of every single visit. The entire team is exceptional: thoughtful, knowledgeable, and truly focused on doing what’s best for their patients. The equipment and technology they use are top-tier, and the quality of their work shows. Even my insurance claim processing (which can usually be a nightmare) has been handled with an impressive level of detail and thoroughness that gives me full confidence in the caliber of their practice. In a space that’s become so convoluted with for-profit models that often forget the actual reason we go to the dentist, Grand Street Dentistry stands out as the real deal. They prioritize care, transparency, and long-term health — not transactions. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you want a dentist that values integrity, quality, and patient experience above all else, this is the place.
