The staff and dentist at this place are really professional and knowledgeable. I had a good experience during my last two visits. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that the waiting room is shared with the medical clinic in one large narrow space and it's loud with too few chairs.

The Asian dentist is horrible. He does a half job and didn't do much of a cleaning. He lied and said I didn't need anything done when I did. I will take my chances at the dental schools because this was a waste of my time. The assistant was very kind and funny but had on a little too much cologne. The receptionists are very professional and helpful. They were the best part of my whole experience.

Never had a problem with them at all out of 3 years going. Got my root canal, sent to orthodontics, teeth clean, tooth brush, easy 1,2,3, dentist listens to you. Receptionist are respectful and listen. Never had an issue, not even 1. Always go every 6 months for cleaning. EDIT: Well he’s always in a rush to leave so make sure you get the info you need out of your doc before leaving the building. If you need to call them back, then call them back.

Horrible!!!! Please don’t waste your time. Went for a cleaning and my teeth were not clean after my appointment and doctor sped off like he already knew he did a bad job. Absolutely damaged my gums

horrible dentist i came here to get seen my mom referred me here and completely dissatisfied the doctor shen whatever his name is told me he cannot proceed with my visit he said he would do a cleaning all he did was take x-rays & use a machine for less then 30seconds … this is horrible experience i had at a dentist he never did a deep cleaning at all, but i bet he made money of my insurance like this is totally bad!!!! if he could not proceed with my work he could’ve said so when he first did X-rays !!! BELIEVE THE BAD RATING THIS DENTIST LOCATION HAS THIS IS COMPLETELY HORRIBLE!!!! BAD FOR BUSINESS SHUT THE WHOLE BUILDING DOWN…

HORRIBLE costumer service. Everytime i’ve been here i had to wait hours at a time to be seen. The assistants do nothing but talk badly about the patients. I’ve gotten braces done here and has not be able to get another retainer sinceeeee. They told me they couldn’t do anything about it because the man that use to work there move to another place. THEY WOULDNT request the mold of my mouth from the lab and left me with nothing to keep my teeth from moving. Am i suppose to just be out of 2000 dollars? NO so i’ve requested a refund. and ever since i’ve asked they don’t pick up the phone for me.

Dr. Shin is the worst dentist at 1550 University Ave not only did he refused to complete my dental work, no other dentist is willing to resume the work he has started. I am very disappointed in his patient care, when you’re in pain he does not address it. He makes comments like "it’s in your head" and "you’re not a dentist…" ultimately making you as a patient feeling belittled and uncomfortable while you siting through a procedure. By all means do not get any major procedures done by Dr. Shin because he can’t finish what he started as a dental health professional. He expects you to tolerate his dismissiveness and lack of clarity for dental procedures and expects you to go to other dentist to do the procedures he plans for your dental health. To sit in a dentist chair crying because your dentist does not have the skill sets for patients care has caused so much trauma for me that that I have never experienced in my time going to the dentist prior. Please I repeat do not receive any treatments from this dentist, it will cost you your job, mental health, and your smile. Oh and also he get a kick out of your pain, makes him feel in control.
