LWSS Family Dentistry - Virginia Beach - First Colonial Rd.

I had my 6th month checkup at LWSS Family Dentistry in Virginia Beach this past week. I am very appreciative of the thoroughness and professionalism of the team beginning from walking in the office to working with the hygienist and dentist. From what I hear, hygienist are few and hard to find. The one that worked on my mouth started off with taking my blood pressure which is great- everyone should do that. She asked about my medications and the products I use as well. Her attention to detail is just the kind of experience that I am looking for. She asked the dentist to come back and check something out that she came across and the dentist had commented that she had a good eye! Thank you again to LWSS!!

Hands-down, the best Dentist I’ve ever been to Dr. McMillan and Melissa take such a great care of their patients. I have really bad anxiety with the dentist and they always calm me down and reassure me that everything is going to be OK step-by-step. They provide treatment plans that show exactly what you’re getting done and explain the process thoroughly. The front desk associates are so helpful and kind. I highly recommend this practice

The staff and caretakers at LWSS were immensely kind and patient with me during my exams and treatment. The tech who did my cleaning made me laugh several times. It's the best experience I've had so far related to dental care.

Dr. Servat is amazing with kids! He was kind, patient, and made both my daughter (the patient) and my 1 year old son feel comfortable and included. He is truly a genuine and caring dentist who goes above and beyond. I am happy that this location has found him!

I've been using LWSS for 30+ years. After moving near the bay we switched from Kempsvillw LWSS to First Colonial Rd. I broke a tooth over the weekend and called Monday to get an appointment. I was advised that the Dr Jenkins whom Id seen from cleanings now was at the Greenbrier office and Id have to call them. I didn't have a doctor at First Colonial. I didn't care who I could see, just didn't want an issue over Christmas. I was told the one and ONLY dentist at First Colonial had no openings for 5 months! Luckily, I found a new dental practice who is seeing me Christmas Eve morning, but really, after 30+ years they cannot work me in fir 5 months! What a shame the once outstanding dental practice has dropped to a terrible, customer unfriendly practice. If you have an emergency, you cannot count on LWSS to help.
