Park Dental Como Avenue

Been coming here for about 10 years and have been very happy. I'm not sure why people have complained about billing issues because front desk worker Cindy is great about knowing how the different dental insurance plans will handle charges. Dr. Harrison is good about not rushing treatment, that is, doing unnecessary fillings/crowns. I've been scammed at other dentists that drill away anything and everything to pad their bills, leaving me with unneeded fillings. This place is efficient, friendly, and reasonable.

They scheduled me several months in advance, then the day before my appointment they call and cancel because they "don't accept new patients with my insurance." Don't waste your time, go somewhere else. I should have listened to the reviews, I'm not the first this has happened to.

Welcoming, caring, personal warmth, professional advice, excellent care, and great stories! Been going there with that dentist since Dr Bob Bjorndahl’s retirement! (And before that I had Dr. Bob’s father…) I appreciate the personal experience beginning with the warm greeting on entering a swarm interaction with every staff person

As a new patient, I was very happy with my treatment at Park Dental. The staff were helpful and patient in explaining my options, and the cleaning I received was thorough and gentle. I'm pleased I've found this new clinic for my dental care.

Called to schedule as a new patient and they were booked seven months out. Asked if they took my insurance and they said yes. Fast forward seven months later to a week before the appointment. They call and say they don't take my insurance. Avoid Park Dental at all costs.

I have never been shamed so much for being poor. Was never told by facility until brought by me that they do not accept payment plans. Not only one but two of their employees proceed to ask me to to reach out to my also poor family to help to pay Then also say "well, $300 is not that much." For someone who is barely getting by, yes that is a lot. If you are struggling with your teeth and finances, don’t expect any help from ANY Park Dental. You will have to pay more than full months rent at time of service. Worse service I have ever had.

Edited review in 2022: Dr Harrison is a good dentist for healthy teeth. I have had issues with fillings, root canals, and crowns that he put in that have prompted me to go spend thousands at other dental practices. Have also had issues with billing where I was told I was not going to be charged, and then received a surprise bill in the mail.
