Amazing experience! I hadn’t been to the dentist in almost 8 years and the compassionate care I received was incredible. Extremely kind staff, Dr. Setia walked me through pricing before I committed to a care plan, and worked with me on a payment plan to cover the cost of my fillings and night guard. Called me after my appointments to check in on me and see how I was feeling which I had not experienced before. I signed up for their membership plan for cleanings, which if you don’t have dental insurance, I highly recommend! 10/10 experience, incredibly grateful I picked Grand Avenue Smiles and Dr. Setia!

I came in for my second routine visit at Grand Avenue Smiles today. I really like the small office feel, and it’s a very calming environment. Everyone is kind and communicative. Shoutout to my hygienist Jeanna who was so great at walking me through everything and checking in with me throughout the cleaning! I’ve been to bigger, more commercial dental practices before, but I definitely prefer the vibe here. It was only my second time here, but I could tell that the front desk staff and Dr. Setia remembered me from last time. I can tell they prioritize customer service. I feel really comfortable here, and I’m happy to have found a dentist that makes going to the dentist not feel so overwhelming. I was even able to make some improvements to my dental care routine based on suggestions at my last visit, and I was happy to hear that the changes paid off!

My first appointment was great, they knew I had a lot of anxiety after a traumatic dental experience. The second appointment 6 months later was the opposite. The assistant was great, and non-judgmental. Dr. Setia was brusk, demeaning and rough. Do dentists forget that there is a person attached to the mouth they are working on? She did not speak to me directly but made judgmental comments and it is not like it had been years since my last cleaning, I had just been there 6 months before. I can only imagine how she treats people struggling with their mental health who have not had dental care for years. This is not a dentist for neurodivergent people. Not everyone has an hour twice a day to be as meticulous as she would like.

Dr. Setia and her team consistently provide outstanding care in a kind and approachable environment. Appreciate their prioritization of improving their own procedures and practices to make the patient experience better and better each time. Can’t go wrong with them!

Dr. Setia and her team are such an asset to the neighborhood! I went in for a routine cleaning and unfortunately found out I had several cavities that needed filling. I hadn’t had fillings before, so I was pretty nervous about it, but my experience was wonderful. I couldn’t believe how fast it was, and I so appreciate the extra care offered, like having noise canceling headphones through the whole appointment, to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. Really grateful to be a patient here.

Dr. Setia, Katie, and Rachel are a dream team! I am someone who regularly feels anxious and uncomfortable in dental offices, but they have such a friendly and capable approach that I am perfectly at ease while there. They handle your dental care with the utmost professionalism and make you feel that they truly care, see, and understand you as a person. I can’t recommend them enough and I would never see another dentist if it weren’t for the fact that I am moving out of state. You will not find a better set of people to care for you and your teeth!

A very a nice office. From the front door to the hygienist to the Dentist. Very calm atmosphere. It really helped me to deal with my dental problems. I honestly felt their sincerity and I trust their advice.
