Timber Dental

Timber dental is the best dental experiences I've ever had. Dr. Dar is incredibly kind and helpful and my hygienist Jamie as well as Raina were so nice and helpful. I am so thankful we have this office in Portland! Some things I really like about the office are that it's really clean, they offer payment plans, and the services are usually really fast. I have some dental anxiety and they have made me feel really safe and cared for. Couldn't recommend this office more!

Great experience. Every single person on staff was friendly, efficient, and helpful. My teeth feel great after the cleaning, and I left confident in my care plan moving forward. Also I appreciated the bright atmosphere and clean decor in the clinic.

First time coming here, it was easy to set up my appointment and do all the paper work / insurance information ahead of time. I was taken back quickly, Oliva(?) I think that was her name? Explained everything well and was very personable. The Dr was great too and helped me better understand some jaw issues I’ve been having.

I do not recommend this location for cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry. While I was initially grateful that this clinic accepted me as a last-minute appointment, I am highly disappointed with the final result and the advice I received. The filling on my front tooth was completely mismatched in color and transparency, making it highly visible every time I smiled. When I returned to address the issue, Dr. Garcia informed me that matching the natural look of a front tooth is technologically impossible in this clinic and even in Oregon at all. Since then, I have visited a different dental office where they resolved the issue easily. The contrast between the two results is night and day. Functionally, the tooth was repaired, but the cosmetic execution was deeply flawed.

Found my way back to Timber Dental after moving away for a few years. As always friendly staff and a great experience. Able to book an appointment and get in quickly. They got me in took care of my cleaning and was out the door in no time. Definitely recommend.

Capable and friendly staff. I particularly appreciated the patient explanation by the dentist about the work he recommended and why. This was a one off visit because I have insurance elsewhere, but if I decide to change my regular dentist I will definitely go back here!

Kind staff, but my experience at these Timber Dental locations seem more and more like they're trying to scam me out of money. They insist on periodontal maintenance and will not let you switch to regular cleanings, even if you request it (everything is up to the hygienist). This is a difference of over $100 ($287 total) and they want you to come back every 3-4 months. Insurance does not cover these kinds of cleanings which is why they push them so hard. I've been getting these for over 4 years and have been told that my gum health is good, but they refuse to take me off this plan. They also push fluoride washes ($60) which don't seem to have lasting benefits in the long run. I've finally decided to switch to a different dentist who doesn't rip me off. It's sad because I really care about my teeth and gums but all they care about is money.
