First time here with my son. Best dental office I have been in, in a long time! They were crowded but moved swiftly, efficiently, and very professional. It may have been 8 people in front of us and my son was done in 1 hour. From walking in to getting back in the car. 👏🏽 I commend ALL THE WORKERS from the receptionist, assistants and the hygienist!! They were amazing 👏🏽👏🏽 I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this specific location in Gentilly.

I had such a great experience at Taylor Dental & Braces! Ms. Lynn did an amazing job, and Ms. India was so helpful and kind throughout the whole process. They really made sure I was comfortable and taken care of, and I left with a gorgeous smile 😁✨ My confidence is back at a 10, and I couldn’t be happier with my results. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality care and a welcoming environment!

It took two visits to receive the kiddies toothbrushes and kiddie toothpaste! LOL THANKS! Otherwise, a seemingly nice staff and tolerant dentists. I am not everyone's choice of person to deal with and they handled me well.

Kayla & Jakeria was amazing with helping me calm my son down to take X-rays. He gave us a hard time but they didn’t get irritated they was so patient, if I had to choose I would choose them every time…. Give them a raise my request! Thank you ladies it was well appreciated:)

I actually had a really good experience at Taylor Dental, which I wasn’t expecting because I usually get nervous about dentist appointments. The office was super clean and everyone at the front desk was really nice! Kayla was seriously the best!! Kayla made me feel way less anxious. She kept checking to make sure I was okay and was just really sweet the whole time. You can tell she actually cares about her patients. Overall it was way better than I thought it would be. I’d definitely recommend Taylor Dental, especially if you’re nervous about going to the dentist!

I had an extremely disappointing and painful experience at Taylor Dental & Braces. I was scheduled for a wisdom tooth extraction that I already paid for, but the extraction was never completed. Instead, my mouth was numbed, my gums were cut open, and stitches were placed yet the dentist refused to proceed with removing my tooth. Throughout the procedure, I repeatedly told the dentist that I could still feel everything and that I was in significant pain. I made it very clear that I was not fully numb, but my concerns were completely dismissed. The way I was spoken to was unprofessional, rude, and discouraging. When I explained that my teeth are very sensitive and I could still feel the procedure, Dr. Thomas Horman responded by saying he "didn’t care," and told me I’m "not the only patient" he has dealt with and that he’s "been doing this for years." That is not something any patient should ever hear while in pain and trusting a doctor with surgery. After the appointment, I left the office actively bleeding and was not given gauze or proper post-procedure instructions. Shortly after, I developed swelling on the right side of my face. I have since found out that I now have an infection due to my gums being cut and not being properly stitched back together. I am now having to seek care from another dental provider to complete the extraction, which is scheduled for April 23, 2026. What makes this even worse is that I had been coming to this office almost every week for nearly a month and a half. Instead of resolving the actual issue, they kept doing unnecessary fillings and repeatedly "working" in my mouth without addressing the wisdom tooth extraction I originally came for. It felt like they were dragging the process out, playing in my mouth, and wasting my time. To top it off, even though they did NOT extract the tooth I paid for, they refused to give me a refund. On top of the poor dental care, the staff was rude and unprofessional. They also discussed my personal information openly in front of other patients, which made me extremely uncomfortable and felt like a complete violation of privacy. This entire experience caused me pain, stress, swelling, an infection, and additional medical costs. I would not recommend Taylor Dental & Braces to anyone looking for professional, respectful, or compassionate care.

We have been using this location on and off for my son's primary dental care. I've now decided I will no longer be coming to this location after our last visit. We came in 10 minutes before our appointment and filled out the online paper work within 10 minutes. We than waited almost 45 minutes before being called to the back. My son went to the back where the xrayed him and sat him down in the chair for almost AN HOUR before starting his cleaning. We have now been there over 2 hours for what should be just a simple cleaning. My son finally finishes and tells me that half way through the cleaning the dentist literally said 'hey siri call mom' and proceeded to have a phone conversation while working on my son's teeth. This is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. I manage a store that works on phones and computers and I would never allow any of my techs to work while having personal conversation because of how distracting this can be. I definitely do not appreciate this happening to my son over medical work! Not only has this location assigned him unnecessary work by saying he had cavities that magically disappeared by next week, the last time we came for an Ortho appointment they seemingly forgot we were there. We were brought to back room and sat in there for almost an hour before a nurse walked in (semi suprised to see us) and the dentist/ortho quickly followed in an obvious rush. I will be moving all future appointments to another office.
