Gina Johnson-Higgins, DMD, PSC

I have gone to Gina’s office for over a decade and I can’t say a single bad thing about all my experiences with Dr. Higgins or any of her staff. They have always gone above and beyond. They make me feel at home and have removed all of the negative stigma of going to the dentist from my mind. I would recommend them to anyone in the Lexington area!!

This office is warm and welcoming. All the staff are genuinely nice and helpful. Lori, Morgan, Amber and Melanie are the best! Dr. Higgins is awesome and down to earth. She will tell you the truth; to get the results, follow the plans.

I saw a public Instagram comment from this dentist’s account (@drginadmd) that said: "You may hate us but honestly? The things wrong with YOUR teeth are YOUR fault! [laughing and thumbs up emojis]. And my teeth are perfect. [middle finger emojis, laughing emojis]." Regardless of context, that kind of language about patients is concerning and not what I’d expect from a healthcare professional.

Best dentist ever! Gina and her staff are kind, professional and easy to work with. They have cared for our family for years! Kelly did my cleaning yesterday and she was wonderful. Thanks!!

I was happy with the care I got from Dr. Higgins, but her assistant I understand she is learning in a different environment she was so rough on me that I had to stop her and she was rude. Never talk to me console me or ask if I was doing OK never did once. Tell me what was gonna be next. I am truly dissatisfied with the care that I received from her assistant With no lack of compassion and communication

EDIT: I AM CONCERNED THAT YOU BREAK HIPAA ON THIS FORUM.…and I ask the owner to remove the protected health information disclosed in their public reply. I was treated here in the early 2000s, and the fillings placed at that time have caused lasting structural issues that multiple later dentists confirmed were related to technique. The owner’s public response to my original review included protected health information (the date of my treatment), which raises additional concerns about patient privacy practices.

Absolutely loved my experience with Ms. Gina Johnson-Higgins! She was so kind, personable, and easy to talk to-just like the rest of her amazing staff! I didn't feel judged, and for once, I felt confident I wasn't going to be taken advantage of financially. All in all, a 10/10 experience!!
