Dr. Alvin H. Chung, DDS

Just go here! I really lucked out- everyone here is wonderful, they accept my insurance, and they are near my house. I have had extensive dental work done in my life, and I appreciate the attention to detail and care that they provide with me that I have rarely experienced elsewhere. They replaced my amalgam fillings quickly, they squeeze me in when they have cancellations, I don't have to wait too long for appointments, they are super responsive, and it's easy to park here too. They are quick to provide info about various treatment options (whitening, bonding, crowns, root canals, etc) and are not the kind of practice to drag you in for unnecessary treatments (I've had this issue many times elsewhere). They are keeping an eye on a large filling in one of my molars, and not in a rush to root canal/replace it. This is also just a really nice office too. I have nothing negative to say about them. Super happy I found them =)

I had such an outstanding experience with Dr. Chung that I felt genuinely compelled to leave this review. He recently redid a filling for me, and the entire process was flawless from start to finish. His expertise and professionalism were obvious, but what stood out even more was his kindness and patience. Dr. Chung took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable the whole way through. I’ve never had a dental visit feel this smooth or reassuring. His team reflects the same positive energy and professionalism. Everyone in the office was welcoming and attentive. The office itself is new, clean, and state-of-the-art, which only added to the confidence I felt in the care I was receiving. I truly appreciate Dr. Chung’s attention to detail and the genuine care he showed throughout my visit. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Dr. Chung and his team.

A complete gem - professionalism through the roof (Davelyn front desk), quality in the details (Jen hygenist) and availability and cost friendly (Dentist Alvin Chung) make this my all-time FAVORITE dentist practice of my lifetime! Mid-century furniture and well coordinated color palettes make this office a joy to be in. True Aloha and gracious professionals here!!!

The best cosmetic dentist! I’ve been going to him for a while. Although I originally had my work done elsewhere, he maintains and refreshes mines as needed. I’ve had a couple veneers that decided to come off. He created a new, natural looking one is less than a week. Honestly when I first got them 15 yrs ago it took over a period of a couple months to get them done. Also does regular dentistry (cleanings, fillings etc)

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years for routine cleanings and every visit has been excellent. The staff is always welcoming and professional, and the level of care is consistently outstanding. I want to especially highlight the hygienist, who does a thorough yet gentle job and always makes the experience joyful and comfortable. This is a great team that truly cares about their patients.

Routine cleaning gone wrong: I mostly come here for routine cleanings which kept getting worse and worse until I literally had to walk out half way through the last one. The hygienest didn't like when I asked her if we could skip the chit chat as she tends to talk my ear off and her whiplash to my request was very unpleasant. She was going off on a rant for ten minutes about random things before even having started the cleaning when I had to cut her short and asked if we can just start the cleaning and skip the chit chat. She then became careless, apathetic, and mechanical while rushing to complete the job. Her metal toothpick abruptly punctured a gap between my teeth below the gum line where she continued to pry my teeth apart and separating the gap between my teeth even more which caused me a lot of pain. I immediately stood up and walked out. I was left with a major tooth ace, gum pain and a severe migraine for the rest of the day. I am now left with a large gap between my teeth which catches food at every meal that gets tuck and causes me pain. I spoke with the dentist after the fact and complained to which he said sorry and reimbursed me the cleaning fee therefore admitting their error. This dentist practice often gave me bad vibes and I should of jsut listened to my gut and not gone back sooner. I wont be going back here even if it were free.

Dr. Alvin Chung is the only dentist I trust with my teeth. He and his staff are always friendly and take the time to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Chung always explains the assessment of my teeth and the appropriate treatment. His new office is beautiful and has lots of parking. The bathroom is fabulously chic! Whenever people compliment my teeth. I tell them to see Dr. Alvin Chung.
