Best dental experience I've had in my life. Dr. Takagi is very friendly, knowledgable and has a gentle touch when working on your teeth. I want to note; at previous dentists I've visited, I feel the full pinch of the needle when the dentist is numbing me. Compared to Dr. Takagi, which I barely feel anything at all. His staff members, Ashley in particular, are on it! They are very compassionate and provide excellent service on every visit. The location is conveniently central in town and has ample parking. They provide text reminders and confirmations for appointments which is a plus!

Dr. Brennan Takagi and his team of hygienists and front office personnel are wonderful! Always, extra care is given to ensure that my dental and oral health is optimized through exceptional care, a patient centered approach, and proactive and preventative education. Dr. Takagi makes time to really understand and address concerns, and his recommendations consistently reflect both a high level of evidence based expertise and patient and family priorities. It’s a special thing to have a health professional like Dr. Takagi who is so well suited to caring for the whole family. We truly feel lucky to have him as our family dentist!

This is a long overdue review of Dr. Takagi and his wonderful staff. First and foremost, he and his staff were there for us when we had a dental emergency and we will be forever grateful for the care and compassion they showed us. Now, our whole family goes there! He works with all ages and that’s a plus. The staff if caring and responsive. We recommend him to all our friends and family. Can’t say enough good things.

I give 5 stars hands down!! I appreciate that they are available outside normal business hours. The staff is great and welcoming and Dr. Takagi did an excellent job on fixing my chipped front tooth. Thank you for giving me my smile back.

A former dentist had done a crown on a back molar many years ago. During a Sat. Dinner, it just came off. I called Dr Brennan Takagi’s dental office to let them know what happened. On Monday I got a telephone call from them and on Tuesday afternoon I had an appointment which started the process of getting a replacement. I was grateful to be called so as not to cause any damage to the exposed tooth! Thank you.

After dealing with three separate dental practices on the big island in the last 5-years I finally gave up. Finding decent care requires a day trip to Oahu! Dr. Takagi’s practice is among the best I’ve encountered. They are extremely thorough, kind, and informative. After a complete evaluation they scheduled a crown prep, crown placement and put me back n cleaning list! The assistant was new to the practice but She performed as if she’d been a team member for years! I’m extremely hopeful about the future and my care from Dr. Takagi Mahalo Nui Loa Update: During the crown preparation Dr Takagi prepared the old tooth, placed a temporary crown, and took impressions! Two weeks later Wendy did an amazing deep cleaning for which I am Grateful! With my permanent crown placed Santa hooked Me Up!!
