Pointe Dental Group - Grosse Pointe Farms

My experience with this office was absolutely phenomenal. Dr. Fanilli is the best dentist I ever had. Her expertise is high level. Her professionalism high level. Five stars really isn't enough for her and her team. This group of professionals deserves a 10 out of 10. Best experience ever! Thank you so much doctor Finelli for giving me a smile that boost my confidence. You are the best!

I do not like going to the dentist, but apparently being an adult means I have to do things like "take care of my teeth," so finding out I needed a crown had my anxiety working overtime. Christine and Dr. Van Drunen were absolutely incredible. They gave me pep talks, checked on me throughout the entire appointment, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. They were so patient and kind that they even gave me hugs afterward. I walked in ridiculously nervous and walked out with a huge smile. If you need a dentist, or you dread going to the dentist like I do, this is where you need to go. They somehow managed to turn a crown appointment into such a positive experience. Thank you all so much!

We’ve been patients at pointe dental GPW since 2018. Dental, orthodontics, a few crowns, etc. I truly adore the staff. Watched as some of the younger ones have gotten married and had babies. Chatted (too loudly and for too long) with the staff. They’ve extended payment plans for uncovered portions of braces and dental work. They are welcoming and thoughtful. They make me laugh and they do a phenomenal job. They don’t judge me when I lose my retainers, forget to bring them in, etc. On the horizon - another round of braces, this time for my littlest. Wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.

On the day of this review, Dr Van Drunen misdiagnosed decalcification for hypocalcification. The week before that, Dr Dave refused to accept an apology so that he would be narcissistically "in the right" while messing up on fixing my tooth to pay me back. While I still don't recommend pointe dental group if you value your teeth, its become much worse than that. I believe I told you as I was walking out kathleen... this business is done because of what you did, and then tried to continue to do, to me. burn.

I received care from this facility in 2022 and 2023 for each visit I paid the required amount in cash ( often over 500- 1,000 dollars) in 2026 I get a call from a collection agency saying I owe $ 101. I have forwarded my mail and for some reason theirs is the only mail I was not getting. Asked the office why i di not get at least a curtsy call they tell me there were multiple attempts. If they falsify these simple things, I do not trust them to provide ethical care or billing.

Absolutely everyone here is amazing. I reached out looking for a consultation/2nd opinion on some existing dental work, and I was treated with compassion, respect and integrity every step of the way. Dr. Bartolovic and staff are highly present and considerate of all your concerns and needs. Sometimes, you can just tell when people love what they do, and this dental group is absolutely one of those rare cases where everyone you encounter is genuinely happy to be of service to you. Definitely recommend checking this place out for any dental needs.

Kathy was over the top amazing at making a little girl who was petrified feel completely at ease and actually looking forward to coming back again. She is amazing!!!
