This is the best place in town from staff to service. Cynthia and Dr. Lee are always amazing every time I go whether it’s for basic teeth cleaning or a procedure. They don’t just clean teeth, they help educate you on best practices and what you can do better. They also have a terrific front desk staff who are always so friendly, and are great with setting reminders, scheduling and payments. I can’t recommend Lakeview Smiles enough!

Amazing experience! I have a baby tooth with dental bonding on it, and the bonding fell off on Memorial Day. I feel so anxious and I called several dental offices the first thing in the morning,Lakeview Smiles was the first one said they can do same day dental bonding and give me a early spot at 9. I went, the front desk was so welcoming (now I feel bad I don’t remember her name), and Dr.Lee was so nice and professional. My tooth is loose, Dr.Lee is very professional and gave me several options. Since I don’t want to get it extracted yet, Dr. Lee respected my decision and be extra careful when she did my bonding. The result is beyond my expectations and looks so much better than my previous bonding. And Dr. Lee suggested if the tooth fell apart someday there will be same day solution as well, which relieved my anxiety again. Definitely recommend Lakeview Smiles!

I love Dr Min! I always ask for her specifically because she has a great bedside manner. The office staff are very kind and always know what’s going on. The only thing I would change is the music lol, it’s not my favorite.

Cynthia is fantastic. My gums have bled when brushed for over a decade and I've seen a few dentists and hygienists about it. One teeth cleaning from Cynthia, and my gums completely stopped bleeding. She seems genuinely interested in her craft and exceptionally skilled. I'm very grateful for her work and glad I picked Lakeview Smiles!

tl;dr Amazing office. Everyone made me feel at ease and really knows what they're doing. Probably the best dental crew I've ever had. I stumbled into Lakeview Smiles by accident (I had an appointment elsewhere and got confused), but I could immediately tell this was an amazing dentist. I used to get anxiety about going to the dentist, but the Lakeview Smiles office put me immediately at ease. Their waiting room has beautiful decor, including a tree made of ropes and moss that I'm obsessed with, and also provides water, tea, coffee, and various other drinks. The front desk staff helped me find my actual appointment, but I knew the next time I needed to go to the dentist, I would go there. Months later, I tried to book through some online service, but when I arrived, I realized the online service had not actually registered my booking. Lola and the other front desk staff at Lakeview Smiles found me an appointment the very next day, even though from their perspective I was just a random person who had accidentally stumbled in without an appointment twice. By the time I had my actual appointment, I had put off getting a dental cleaning for almost two years, the longest I had ever put it off. This had consequences. Cynthia, my hygienist, immediately identified that there would be cavities. (I'd only had one in my life before.) We scheduled a date to fill them. When I arrived, I was nervous - were we sure these were actual cavities? What if we drilled needlessly? To put me at ease, Cynthia showed my scans to Dr. Lee, the owner of the practice, who not only confirmed the cavities detected, but identified several more, bringing me to a total of eight (😭). Some of them were rapidly deteriorating, so Dr. Lee said she would fill them in personally, on the spot. She offered to fill in only the worst ones and leave the rest for another day, but I said we should do all eight at once. It was not possible for this to be a pleasant experience, but Dr. Lee made it as good as it could possibly be. She has incredible bedside manner and calmed my anxiety throughout the process as few other dentists have been able to do. Cynthia was the first and only person that has ever convinced me to floss. She is an excellent hygienist and will be an excellent dentist if she chooses to go down that route. She is also very good at putting me at ease, and has been very attentive to monitoring my teeth over time, which I really appreciate. Every appointment, she lets me know whether they've improved since last time, giving me good advice and encouraging me to keep doing what I'm doing at home. She is very willing to answer any question I have, no matter how silly I consider it. I also have a very consistent experience each time, with careful scheduling to make sure that both Cynthia and Dr. Lee can see me. In this office, I feel very taken care of, and I trust their expertise and attentiveness to my teeth. Since my cavities were filled, I have not had another dental issue again

I went to Dr Lee because I relocated back to Chicago full time from NYC & needed a reputable dentist to maintain my crowns & restorations. I had been botched prior by 3 "prominent" dentists. They over cut my teeth & made a mess. Dr. Lee discovered openings in my crowns from my previous dentist that must get replaced to keep my real teeth healthy & intact underneath the crowns. We did 1 to see how it went. She did a beautiful job. Although unfortunate that this is happening again, she made me feel safe & supported. She took the time to explain things & showed me the issues. I know she is being honest because I could see the issues/openings for myself when she showed the xray & has ai technology that further detected issues. Thank god we caught this now, this set of crowns is less than 2 years old. In time to still save my real teeth. Her hygienist Cynthia was also very good. She did my cleaning & is why I gave Dr.Lee a shot in the 1st place. Some of my clients/colleagues also go to her. I know she is reputable & so far I am impressed by her & her staff. Cynthia has a great bedside manner, is very thorough & knowledgeable. I give this clinic an A+. I work in beauty & undestand the importance of not only quality & skill; but also bedside manner & customer service. From her manager to front desk, everyone there is very sweet & knowledgeable. I would refer my people to her after my experience. Thank you Dr. Lee, Cynthia & Staff. I am confident that if anyone can fix what was done to me- it's Dr. Lee & her team.

TLDR: This dentist recommends surgeries and other procedures that are not necessary. They recommended a root canal, many fillings, and gum grafting. They did not honor their agreement about the surgery after the surgery didn’t go well, recommended even more surgery, meanwhile my wife never even needed any surgery when we got a second opinion elsewhere. My wife went here for several years. During that time, they always recommended gum grafting surgery for my wife. Unfortunately, she decided to get it. She was nervous about it, so as part of the agreement, they agreed to cover any follow-up surgeries or other costs if the first one didn’t take (gum grafts don’t always go perfectly). The surgery didn’t take, so the recommended a second one. They tried to back out of their agreement, and always came up with a myriad of additional costs, and it took many calls of back and forth to get them to actually honor their original agreement and to cover the cost. It felt like they were constantly trying to hit us with surprise fees and to find some way to weasel out of paying for any follow up costs. Separately, they also recommended fillings and root canals to my wife. There was never any warning where they would be watching a tooth and then it would finally need a procedure. It was always a surprise. This makes it feel like these aren’t medically necessary procedures, but things that they are inventing, since there is never any advanced warning (teeth don’t change that fast where you need a new surprise procedure every 6 months). In summary, every single time my wife went in they recommended some additional procedure. And they tried to repeatedly hit us with hidden fees and costs. We have now switched dentists, and haven’t had any recommended procedure in 18 months. There is no question that they were recommending things that weren’t necessary just to make more money. I would go to literally any other dentist before this dentist. Please don’t go.
