Ahmed Orthodontics PC

I believe I began seeing Dr. Ahmed and his staff in late 2013. I found them via a random search for an orthodontist in my area that offer payment plans for adults with insurance that does not cover orthodontics for patients over age 18. My initial consultation went great. They verified my insurance wouldn't cover even half of the sessions and so they gave me the total cost, how many months I would need to be seen and my monthly payments based on those factors. Each visit I am seen promptly and during the times I had to wait, the wait was less than 30 minutes. They've recently relocated to a larger office a few blocks down from where they were before and they even offer Saturday appointments although those are snatched up QUICKLY. Due to fault on my part in not keeping my appointments, my braces have been on for a little longer than scheduled, however, Dr. Ahmed and his staff have always accommodated me as best they can. I have referred a few people to them in the past (not sure if they followed through) and will continue to do so if asked. As of today my braces are still on but I am beyond satisfied with my results so far. If I HAD to post a "con" it'd be that they don't have their Nintendo WII in the new location's waiting room. My son loved playing Mario Cart while he waited for me. 🙂

This place was a really accessible and in a nice location. Doctor Ahmed is a really nice person and tries his best to make you feel at ease. They're pretty nice about scheduling so I can always go there after school from Manhattan. I've had him for three years and so far so good!

There are not many times you get the vibe that the owner and the staff truly care for your family. This is one of those places. Dr. Ahmed is a real one, part of the community and goes above and beyond. My family and many friends go here and have just great things to say. Keep up the great work and thanks for everything!

If you have a child with cleft lip/palate I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ahmed. He was the quarterback for our care and went above and beyond our expectations! The staff is wonderful and friendly. They really try to work with my tight schedule.

Dr. Ahmed is an absolute joke!! I was under his care for 30 months and when it was all said and done I had to go get a second opinion.Upon review by another Ortho my teeth were scanned for Invisalign. The scan turned up a 40 week treatment plan. That is an awful lot for Invisalign, especially after having braces for 2 1/2 years. Dr. Ahmed is never in his office! Doesn’t seem to know what’s going on! And doesn’t seem to care! But has absolutely no problem taking your money! I had an impacted canine and this clown told me to wear 2 rubber bands to bring it down. It came down too quickly with a lot of bone loss and now has to be extracted. So much stress all for nothing. My teeth are coming along nicely now. Invisalign is much better than he’ll ever be.

My consultation appointment was canceled without notice. I understand the weather is out of your control, but It is unprofessional not to give a courtesy call or an automated message. I feel like this quality of customer service says a lot about the quality of your work- you don't care. I will take my money to another orthodontist in the neighborhood.

I was a very difficult case. And I had some set backs regarding my initial results with the invisaline. Dr Amed took the time out to personally address my concerns. And went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my results. I thank you for your personal attention and the time you took to handle my case.
