Mendes Family Dentistry.

I saw Dr Paul Mendes yesterday and he was amazing! I had to switch dental providers due to my insurance switching and the dental hygienist, Dawn was wonderful too. The staff is welcoming and wait times were under 10 minutes. They are punctual and very communicative. I HIGHLY recommend going here! Thank you for making my dental visit easy to schedule, prompt and enjoyable!

My experiences with this dental office have only been exceptional. They take the time to explain everything in detail, including what the procedure will cost. They are very prompt with the appointments and kind with the techniques. I needed to have a root canal procedure done and they even called to see if I wanted to get in earlier when they had a cancellation. The procedure was painless and a job well done. Both Dr. Charlie Mendes and Dr. Paul Mendes are excellent dentists and I highly recommend them to friends and family.

I have been coming to Mendes Family Dentistry for 3-4 years now. They are booked pretty quickly so make sure to schedule as soon as possible. They always send out reminders which is helpful and call if they can fit you in earlier. Service is quick but thorough and they always offer me floss/toothbrush/floss threaders when I go. They are very nice and welcoming. They have parking in the back by the church area.

I had a perfectly acceptable experience when I went there and Dr Mendes actually encouraged me to bring my kids in the future. Thought we’d found a great neighborhood option. However I tried scheduling for myself and my kids and the receptionist was so incredibly unhelpful. For one she only said "hello" when she answered and then seemed annoyed when I asked if I’d called the right number. Then she said they were full through January and weren’t scheduling for the new year. That would be totally understandable but she also didn’t know when they’d start scheduling and had no advice or interest in suggesting a good time to call back. So I called in the new year and was again met with the same person’s completely unhelpful attitude and told again that they were full and could only schedule new appointments on an unspecified date in the future. It made for a really strange customer service experience. No friendliness, no clear explanations or suggestions… It basically felt like they didn't want us as clients but just didn’t want to say it. Disappointed that such an off putting receptionist now has us hunting for a new dentist.

Both receptionist are snobby and don’t seem like they want to work there. The procedures went well and the doctors are nice but it’s not worth it if you have to deal with rude receptionist.

I called to get my wisdom tooth checked out, and they were able to take me in the same day! I saw Dr. Charles Mendes—he was super kind and took the time to explain everything very well. He walked me through what was going on, what my options were, and what to expect next. The whole experience honestly made my day.

Previously coming to Mendes Family Dentistry, I had a poor experience with a root canal which caused my tooth to look a little bit gray. Both Dr. Charles Mendes and Dr. Paul Mendes took every step to ensure that my tooth would be back to the way I wanted it to look. First, they encouraged but not solicited me on whitening my teeth. Next, they sent me to a specialist who specifically curated a color to match my tooth. Lastly, on the appointment day the process went quickly and I was in out with 3 crowns. My tooth looks amazing, and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. They were flexible with me on times and able to complete this complex procedure in a month. I would definitely recommend Mendes Family Dentistry.
