Buyer beware... I finally decided to post a review after visiting another dentist for 2nd opinion and my insurance allowed another service. I complained thay tbey were trying to charge me out of pocket for fillings and a deep cleaning. My insurance had already declined to do treatment they said was "required" to save certain teeth but said did not need it. Insurance also said the fillings were covered 100% for in network dentists which this office had been. Be sure to review directly with your own insurer prior to agreeing to pay your copay or coinsurance and know your benefits. These may be hard times with inflation and yes we are in Silicon Valley but not necessarily a good idea to get taken for extra whether you have a great job or are struggling to get by.

I had a great experience on my check up and cleaning. I had an emergency and they scheduled an appointment that very day. Everyone was very kind, highly recommend choosing this dentist.

I went in January 2025 due to pain from a loose tooth. The waiting room was not clean, which was concerning. After X-rays, I was told the dentist was not available and asked to return at 1 PM. I was then informed that the tooth would not be extracted unless I agreed to a $400 bone graft. I explained that I did not want or believe I needed a bone graft, but I was told it was required. Because I was in pain and unable to reach another dentist, I felt pressured to agree. In September, I called to schedule an implant appointment. The office manager attempted to charge me $1,000 more than my insurance out-of-pocket estimate. Even after I showed her the official estimate from my insurance, she refused to honor it and would not provide the service. Overall, a disappointing and uncomfortable experience.

Mai at the front desk was amazing help! she talked me through each charge before having the doctor perform my procedure I paid cash so it was essential to have that trust.. The Doctor who performed my work was amazing!! and gentle and talked me through each step as he was performing my procedure. I’m super happy! THANK YOU NuSmile!!!!!!

I was aggressively pushed to do deep cleaning (must be done more often, requires copay) instead of regular cleaning fully covered by insurance. Made an appointment for regular cleaning and upon arrival WAS REFUSED A SERVICE, except deep cleaning. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Very dissatisfied. Took my husband in for a full check up because his tooth was hurting a lot. My husband informed me they barely looked at it and told him he needed it to be pulled out. Went to a different dentist a week later and managed to get the care we needed. Which was a root canal, they informed us thet his tooth was not even near to being needed to be pulled yet. Wasted my money and time. Will never recommend this office. If we want bad service we know where to go.

NuSmile has consistently taken good care of me over the passed 10 years! The front desk is always quick and friendly before and after each appointment! I’m a person who has always had anxiety about dental visits, but the dentists and hygienists do a good job of keeping me calm and informed on what they are doing! I will continue to use NuSmile for my dental needs!
