What an amazing experience and how lucky for me I found this dental practice. The doctor and the technicians are amazing. Everyone works together as a solid team, everyone’s healthy and robust and happy in their work, which is so important. What can I say? I never thought I’d be reading about a dental practice, but here I go these guys are beyond excellent get in before you can beg it once people find a secret out. They’re gonna get booked out really fast.

I recently started seeing Dr. Young and my experience has been nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff was incredibly welcoming. His assistant, Ashley, is absolute gold. She is genuinely the sweetest and made me feel right at ease. My hygienist Sophia was also great. The office was also recently expanded, and the new space looks fantastic! It’s modern, clean, and very comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Young to anyone in the Portland metro area looking for top tier care.

I have been going to this office since 2009, when it was still Rafia Dental. Dr. Raffia ran a great office, he and everyone there was so nice, and I never had any issues of any kind. However, since the new doctors purchased it and have taken over, I have given the office not one, not two, but three strikes and I'm now done. First issue, I needed my mouth guard adjusted so sent them an email and never got a response back. No big deal...I dealt with it, and then brought it to my next appointment. Second issue, went in for a cleaning and then got hit with a big bill later. Apparently, my insurance company was ok, but not my specific plan. Not their fault, but something that should be figured out BEFORE an appointment. And finally, at my appointment today they could not find me in the insurance system even though I 100% am under the plan. Again, not their fault because I could not produce my account number...but something that should be figured out BEFORE i take hours off of work, drive all the way down there, pay for parking, etc. They have 4 or 5 ladies up front working the desk...at any other doctor's office I've ever been to, they always have this stuff sorted beforehand. So I'm done...after 17 years. I will be looking for a place that is more reminiscent of the service I used to get when it was Rafia Dental.

I've been wanting to get into Lovejoy for some time based off personal recommendations. I'm glad I finally did. The most comfortable and professional dental clinic I've been to. Dr. Young and his staff are the best I've experienced. Actually tied for number one, but they retired so Lovejoy takes first place. Kidding aside, great dentist, great hygienists. Can't recommend them enough.

I have the most amazing dentist at Lovejoy Dental, his name is Dr. Matthew Young, and I believe he is part owner. I have been his patient for many years, however, it wasn’t until I recently developed dry mouth, due to a medication I’m taking, that required more restorative work. He has done a brilliant job and you would never know I had so much work done. Further, Dr. Young and his staff are some of the kindest people I know.

LoveJoy Dental is wonderful! They make every visit smooth and stress-free. Dr. Way is friendly, thorough, and truly an excellent dentist. I also really appreciate how organized and helpful the team is when it comes to planning future dental work and navigating insurance—they make the whole process easy.

Fillings took 30 minutes they are just so nice and efficient here. As someone who hasn’t gone to the dentist in 10 years and has a bit on anxiety around it they have made my mind at ease with their kindness and attentive behavior towards the issues I have and addressing them. Great people great spot. Also very comfortable facilities.
