I really appreciated the local, neighborhood vibe of the office. The dentist took time to discuss my X-rays in-depth, and provided plan of care / strategy that looked to the future. They gave a comprehensive upfront assessment about what they thought needed to be done soon and what could wait. I got the right information about what the images and exam showed about my teeth so I could ask questions and make informed decisions about what to do next. I felt like I had an expert partner who wanted to help me make a decision rather than just being told what was happening next. Definitely moving from a more "corporate" practice to this one!

Dr. Christiansen is always so professional and kind, even when he doesn’t have good news to share. He is so pleasant and his assistant is caring and gentle, always willing to go out of her way to care for you. The office staff is also terrific! Very friendly and helpful. I have only had very positive experiences here.

Alicia at the front desk is very helpful and patient. She helped me figure out my dental insurance and when it turned out my insurance did cover my cleaning and x-rays, she refunded my money right away. The dentist and all the hygienists were very helpful as I admittedly tried their patience with all my questions, and immediately helped me out when I broke my temporary crown.

I hate going to the dentist but all the people who work at Friendly Smiles are great. Dr. Christiansen took the time to explain everything to me very clearly and I super appreciate that. All of the assistants have been great too. I wish I could remember everyone’s name but Song helped today and she was really nice. Alicia and everyone at the front desk are awesome too. I’m grateful to all of them being truly friendly and great at their jobs.

Shanda and the whole Friendly Smiles staff are fantastic, appointments feel as easy as a trip to the grocery store. I switched from another SE Portland provider and I am certainly not going back. The front desk folks are friendly and accommodating, I have zero concerns about billing and upcharge (and their rates are as reasonable as you'll find in the metro area), and I am pleased with the results of SRP deep cleanings and routine cleanings. Thumbs up all around!

They walked me through every step of what was going on and what the future looked like and what my treatment plan looked like and what my responsibility was after my insurance, they answered all my questions and made sure I stayed comfortable and informed. I am so grateful to have found Friendly Smiles after moving here three years ago. In searching for a new dentist, I had unpleasant experiences with two other dentists that pushed costly procedures & did not care about me as a person. I just completed two pain-free crown placements. Dr. Booth & his team are warm and caring, listening to concerns and explaining each step of the process.
