Dr. Azbari has been our family dentist for over 20 years. My wife and I were among some of his earliest patients, and now my two adult sons and their families are his patients as well. In addition to the detailed, comprehensive annual dental care we have all received there have been notable emergency situations over this period where he personally came into his practice over a weekend or holiday, or stayed late after normal hours to treat one of us. I have noticed that he extends this personal connection and commitment to all his patients.

I had my first appointment with Barnes Dental today. Dr AJ Azbari was very professional and I had the best experience of filling cavity. I’m usually very nervous when it comes to dental work, but he and his assistant made me very comfortable and I’m so happy to find our dentist.

The office staff members were kind and very friendly. Dr A.J. Was recommended by a family member; this visit was scheduled as a consult regarding some discomfort after a procedure from another provider months ago. The doctor was very friendly, considerate and gentle; he was able to determine why the area had been bothering me and how best to proceed. I He was very thorough and I left the office very relieved and satisfied. I would wholeheartedly recommend Barnes Dental.

Dr A has been our family dentist for 10+ years - he’s thoughtful, friendly, efficient, and experienced. He’s not overly aggressive in that he judiciously advises us on what’s necessary/indicated only, and he refers out to high quality specialists when appropriate (orthodontist, etc.). We feel lucky to have found him. Highly recommended.

Barnes Dental and Dr. Azbari are Portland treasures. Dr. Azbarii’s work is equally expert and compassionate. He is friendly and communicative. His practice is patient centered and friendly. I recommend him without reserve.

Loved Barnes Dental...from setting up the appointment, paperwork, getting X-Rays, the cleaning & interaction with Dr. Azbari. Every step of the process was easy, friendly and professional. Highly recommend them!!! Only wish I had found them sooner!

Dr. Azbari is knowledgeable, personable and skilled. I feel welcomed by his staff and my hygienist had excellent technique and was concerned with making me comfortable during the cleaning. Overall I recommend this practice highly!
