Gibbs Orthodontic Associates, P.C : Invisalign, Braces and Dentofacial Orthopedics

Both of my children went to Dr Gibbs. I can’t recommend this practice high enough. Dr Gibbs is knowledge and fun and the front desk is so easy to work with. Getting braces involves scheduling tons of appointments and this office made it so easy. Plus the free chapstick and hand sanitizer always came in handy.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I honestly didn’t expect to be giving five stars and beyond, but Gibbs Orthodontic Associates truly deserves it. Since day one, they’ve been honest, transparent, and incredibly accommodating. They’ve always been understanding with my schedule, even when I was running late, and they worked with me when it came to payments for their services. They respond to questions in a timely manner and really prioritize customer service, treating everyone equally with respect. The entire team is friendly, kind, sweet, and genuine. I’ve felt comfortable and taken care of from day one, and I highly recommend them.

I had an extraordinary experience with Dr. Gibbs and the entire team at Gibbs Orthodontics. As an adult male in my 50s, I was hesitant to do anything about my smile and bite, but I’m so glad I did. Initially, I considered Invisalign, but after consulting with Dr. Gibbs, I decided to go with braces — and I don’t regret it for a second. The results are truly outstanding. My regular dentist and hygienist recently saw the outcome and were blown away. My dentist even said it was the best orthodontic work they had seen in their entire career! The entire process took only nine months, which was incredibly fast. I’m convinced that Invisalign wouldn’t have produced the same results and would likely have taken 18–24 months. As a triathlete who races Half and Full Ironman events, I can confidently say that not only does my new smile look great, but I’m probably a bit more aero now too — lower drag coefficient included! 😄

I would strongly caution anyone from using Dr Eric Gibbs as your orthodontist. Not only did he leave my daughter with a terrible flare , but he also failed to perform services that were already agreed to in writing and paid for in full. Upon subsequent visits to two other top NYC orthodontists, they were absolutely shocked by his work and both confirmed that they have had quite a few of Dr Gibb's teenagers come to them to redo braces. My husband and I are not the type of people to complain, but our goal in posting this review is to hopefully prevent other children and parents from having to experience stress and having to pay another orthodontist to redo braces.

Dr.Gibbs and his team have been so thoughtful, careful, and attentive throughout my Invisalign process. Him and his team always took the time to make sure everything is done thoroughly and I am comfortable every step of the way. They are wonderful and I highly recommend! - Emilia Katz

Dr. Gibbs and his team are wonderful. They’re fun, nice, welcoming & quick to get you in if needed. My daughter was really scared about getting braces & on our consultation started to panic. Dr. Gibbs stopped everything to focus on her to help alleviate her fear and put her at ease. I’ve never seen a kid be so happy to get braces and then go in for regular checks. I had a wonderful experience! I was one of the few adults in the office haha. But finally straightening out my crooked teeth was well worth it after all these years. All the staff, including Dr Gibbs, were extremely friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed chatting with them. He explained the state of my teeth and the options available to treat it, including the braces available, and how we had to file my teeth down slightly to make more room. Thankfully, we didn’t have to resort to tooth extraction! Best of all, I never had to wait, but was always seen right away. Highly recommend
