Dr. Shouhed and his team are amazing. I have really bad anxiety at dental offices from past experiences, but Sandy was incredibly understanding, calming, and took such great care of me throughout my visit. She went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable and clearly broke down the pricing and treatment plan so I fully understood everything without feeling overwhelmed. Dr. Shouhed is extremely patient and truly cares about his patients. He took the time to explain everything step by step, and the team even brought me blankets and checked in on me often, which made a huge difference. The office is so welcoming and as a bonus, there’s a mini Axel Shouhed (the office dog!) for emotional support. Hands down the best office you can go to. If you’re looking for a dental office to call home, I would 110% recommend this place.

Dr. Shouhed and his staff are the best. They always make me feel welcome and take good care of me. They work with my insurance, and if my insurance doesn't cover it, they help me find a way to make it happen so I don't have to worry about what could happen if I don't get my tooth fixed.

I had a deep cleaning done today and genuinely had such a great experience. Dr. Shouhed was incredibly thorough, attentive, and professional throughout the entire appointment, and the staff was equally welcoming, friendly, and helpful from start to finish. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes pride in his work. He explained everything clearly, made me feel comfortable, and the level of detail and care was exceptional. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an honest, skilled, and meticulous dentist.

I’m so happy I found such an amazing dentist! Dr. Shouhed is a fantastic. He takes his work extremely seriously and is also a very nice person. I’m so impressed at how he fixed my two front teeth! What a skilled artist! They were originally chipped down bad and needed veneers. He made them beautiful! It’s amazing how important your two front teeth are for your whole look! I trust him completely with my teeth. The staff is wonderful too! Highly recommend Smile Perfector Dental Group!

I had a great experience. . The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming, starting with the front desk, Sandy, she runs a meticulous program and is always very kind and professional. Her interpersonal skills are 10/10. Dr.Shouhed went out of his way to make sure I was at ease and is heavy on communicating the process to eliminate my anxiety. I have crippling dental fear from prior experience, and Dr.Shouhed makes all that go away. The office itself is clean, modern, and well maintained, which immediately made me feel comfortable. Super fancy tbh. They have all the latest gadgets. My teeth look incredible, and the quality of care truly boosted my self-esteem. I had stopped smiling due to multiple tooth loss. Dr. Shouhed has changed my life. I left feeling confident, happy, and well taken care of. I’m smiling again!!! The only downside is parking. Parking in the area is very expensive, which can be frustrating. But a small inconvenience for the level of treatment received. Overall, an excellent dental experience with outstanding staff and results — 10/10 would recommend!

I just got two cavities filled today, and the experience was quick, comfortable, and totally painless during and afterwards. I was surprised when it was over, and felt I could stay in that chair another hour if need be. If you think you can’t feel pampered at the dentist, this office will prove you wrong. I highly recommend this place to anyone, especially those feeling tentative about important dental procedures.

Dr. David Shouhed was my general dentist for a couple of years (roughly 2018 to 2020). It has been a while, but I am writing this because I am still dealing with the after effects and costs of his substandard work done during that time. For routine cleanings, things were generally fine. The office was clean, the staff was friendly, and the practice seemed to care about aesthetics. There was some upselling, but nothing unusual. The problems started with more involved treatment. He treated two teeth for me: one crown, and one root canal with a crown. 1) Root canal plus crown (front tooth) on tooth #7 During clear aligner treatment (not done here), I woke up one morning and my tooth was blue. I called the office and they fit me in quickly, which I appreciated. Dr. Shouhed confimed that the tooth had died, and he performed a root canal and placed a temporary crown, then replaced it with a permanent crown about two weeks later. When I got home, it was immediately obvious the crown color did not match my surrounding teeth (it was noticeably more yellow). I returned to the office and the staff agreed the shade was off. Dr. Shouhed attempted to remove the crown to replace it with a new temporary, but he struggled to get it off. He kept drilling and drilling and prying and seemed genuinely annoyed until finally he said out loud "WHO USED SO MUCH CEMENT ON THIS TOOTH?!?!" I could not respond since there were instruments in my mouth, but I remember thinking, "Umm, you were the one who put this crown on." I remember my jaws were tired and it felt like he spent close to an hour trying to remove all the cement, and during the process a large amount of tooth structure was drilled away, leaving the tooth extremely small. I took a photo in the chair because I was genuinely shocked by how little tooth was left. I was told this was normal to prepare the tooth for a new crown, but it did not feel normal to me. I've attached a photo of what was left of my tooth. A few years later, my new dentist suspected an infection at the root tip on this tooth, and an endodontist confirmed it. I needed the crown removed, a repeat root canal (since the first root canal Dr. Shouhed performed failed), and another crown. This was still within the five year window, so insurance did not cover it, and I paid about $5,000 out of pocket for both the retreatement plus crown. Both my dentist and the endodontist also commented that there was very little remaining tooth structure to work with, which made restoring it more difficult. The tooth now feels more fragile than my others, and I have to be careful biting into certain foods. 2) Crown (no root canal) on tooth #4 Dr. Shouhed told me that an old filling needed to be replaced, but that the tooth would not hold up well with another filling, so a crown was recommended. I agreed. So we capped it with a crown. A couple of years later, that crown broke. I went to my new dentist for evaluation. After X rays and an exam, my new dentist explained that the crown had been placed over an existing amalgam (mercury) filling by my previous dentist (Dr. Shouhed). Apparently this is not standard practice or good dentistry (in fact, lazy) to leave the amalgam when capping a tooth with a crown. I was told this likely contributed to issues with the seal and made it harder to detect decay developing underneath. When the crown was removed, there was significant decay under the old filling that needed to be drilled out and repaired, and I ultimately needed a new crown. Some of the initial circumstances were not caused by this practice, but the quality of the restorative work and the outcomes have been extremely costly and stressful for me. Based on my experience, I do not recommend Dr. Shouhed.
