My first visit was within just a few days of calling LFD and they were polite, professional and are very good at communicating via email and text about your appointment scheduling. I was seen just minutes after arriving and the dentist came by just a few minutes after my cleaning. Highly recommend!

When they say family, they mean it! My mom, 3 sisters, and myself have been coming here since 2003. Dr. Whitaker is phenomenal and all of his hygienists are too. They have the kindest front desk staff and they are very knowledgeable about military dental insurance. If you’re in the market, go see Dr. Whitaker and his team!

I am not a fan of dentists because of a very bad experience years ago. I must applaud the stag at LFD. They are friendly, gentle, thorough and waste no time. I was very pleased with my visit.

Vicki was so friendly and kind during my cleaning. She had great attention to detail and was gentle on my teeth. Dr Andrew Whitaker gave me options for an issue with my retainer, and was easy to talk to. I felt they were both very honest and not looking to profit off of me. So happy I found this dentist. Would highly recommend and actually look forward to my next visit!

Overall my personal experience has been great, but someone who I care about deeply recently had a poor and embarrassing experience, and I feel the need to speak up on behalf of them. It is, under no circumstances, appropriate for a health care provider to be rude to a patient over the condition of their teeth. Why do you think they're coming to the dentist? For fun? Sassy and uncalled for comments, as well as condescending and pointed questions, actively deter patients from wanting to use this service. It took a lot of courage for them to come in, and the visit resulted in embarrassment and shame. While nobody has made comments about me personally, I can no longer in good faith recommend Lexington Family Dentistry to anyone who is actively doing everything they can to make necessary and healthy changes in their life. Changes in which they did not have access to in years. If you aren't willing to help people, and prefer to judge instead, consider changing careers.

Friendly staff. Vickie is delightful and does a great job cleaning. Dr. W is personable and thorough. Highly recommend!
