Love Dr. Carter and staff!!! I’ve been coming here for maybe 10 years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!! We even move a hour away and I still make the drive to their dental office! They are a "premier" dental group and they make you feel like a VIP! Everyone there is so nice yet professional! Very accommodating when scheduling my appointments. I would highly recommend making Dr. Carter your regular dentist!!!

I had my first visit at North Gate Dental, and it was also my first time getting a crown, so I was definitely nervous. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel comfortable and cared for. The office was welcoming, professional, and the entire experience was much more pleasant than I expected. Everyone was kind, patient, and explained things in a way that helped ease my anxiety. I truly appreciated how comfortable they made me feel throughout the process. I’m so glad I found North Gate Dental — I can confidently say I’ve found my new dental home!

The Northgate Dental team is amazing! The facility is gorgeous, for one, and every member of the staff treated me with kindness and were a pure joy to interact with. Both Tammy and Dr. Shawna Jackson took such great care of me and my teeth. I even got to shake hands with Dr. Carter, who was so welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this well-run practice. They treated me like royalty. I was kind of sad when it was time to leave. 10 stars from me and my clean teeth 😍

I have some anxiety about dental appointments and this group took such great care of me. They showed compassion and understanding and didn’t make me feel ashamed. Dr Carter took time to talk with me and get to know me, before explaining the results from my exam. Hannah was extremely patient with me during my cleaning and continually checked in to make sure I was doing ok and felt comfortable. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Truly impressed with everyone I encountered from the front office to Dr Carter himself.

This is a great practice! I have gone here for a few years now. I have had a good experience with each person I have met here, from the front desk, helping with understanding what is covered (especiallyright before job loss), to the hygienists, to the dentists. I have a pretty extensive dental history in my opinion, and I have felt much shame due to not knowing why my dental health was such a struggle in the past. I have not felt that shame here, just understanding, and tips to help in my specific situation. No one has been pushy and has respected my personal decisions to not have impants put in after previous loss. The new dentist, Dr. Jackson has been wonderful, specifically to help me feel understood and not shamed. A few appointments ago she also was compassionate and helpful to replace a previous filling before my insurance ran out due to job loss. She had empathy and encouragement that I will remember, listening to my uncertainty about it all. Lastly, I also have to say, on another note, that my family and I just love driving by and seeing the Christmas display each year.

Best dental experience I’ve had in a long time. The VA referred me to Northgate Dental, and I couldn’t be happier with the referral. Dr. Shawna Jackson and her tech Sally were fantastic. They were professional, friendly, caring, and very thorough, but also fun and engaging—which made the whole appointment feel relaxed instead of a standard dental appointment. The clinic itself was extremely clean, organized, and welcoming, and every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. Dr. Jackson and Sally took the time to explain everything and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. It’s clear they truly care about their patients. I honestly couldn’t have been referred to a better clinic. Highly recommend Northgate Dental for anyone looking for a great dentist. Dr. Shawna Jackson and her team are outstanding!

I absolutely love Northgate Dental! Like most, going to the dentist is just another necessary thing to do, but Northgate Dental makes every appointment a comfortable, inviting, and pleasant experience. The office itself is top notch with nice lighting, granite countertops, wood flooring, and a home-like feel. They offer to turn on the massage feature on their chairs and when having dental work done, always offer a blanket to help feel more comfortable. Everyone in the office is so friendly and full of life. My visits are always efficient and enjoyable. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
