Truly an excellent experience here at Urban Smiles Dental. The entire staff is amazing, caring and very attentive to your needs. There is obviously a lot of care put into the work being done. Both doctors are as sweet as can be. Dr. Jang is especially amazing, she explains the entire treatment with such clarity and answered any questions I had. 10 out 10 experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for high quality care and a trustworthy dentist office. I will be coming back here for years to come! 🙂 P.S. The laser treatment that Dr.Jang provides at Urban Smiles Dental is out of this world!

Dr. Jin is knowledgeable, thorough and kind. I've been there twice so far and both times I felt better. The Receptionists and staff are also thorough. Paying attention to small details do matter. Excellent cleaning and treatment, very gentle and patient. I have and will continue to recommend them to family and friends.

I heard the head dentist chew out the hygienist three times behind me before she came in. The poor hygienist had to retake x rays seven times. Knowing she was mainly upset about my prognosis and the fact the 3,000 needed for the procedure was still not something I could afford a year later. Her bedside manner was horrible. She was. Unforgiving a year later. I had an infection, which she prescribed amoxicillin for. But nothing for pain nothing to save the tooth. Nothing to assure I was in good hands. No consult on how to pay for it. Wam bam. Door. Moreover, no one on their day off with an emergency dental situation wants to hear the poor hygienist getting chewed out. Man bad experience all around and I’d rather start over and repay than deal with that total negative experience. Be kind to your staff and your patients.

Went in for my standard cleaning and the dentist mentioned I have a chip in my tooth. He said he was going to fill it and I assumed he wanted me to schedule a follow up for that, but nope. The dentist filled the chip, taking up only 5-8 minutes of my 30-minute appointment. My insurance covered everything, and they waived the $50 co-pay for the filling, so I left without owing anything. They took the time to explain everything they'd do, provided me with an estimate for future work I inquired about, and answered all of my questions. I am never going to change dentists. Outstanding work, I love these folks.

Please do 1 minute of research and go elsewhere. I went here because my regular dentist at the time was booked up for a few months and I was moving 1+ hours away and wanted to get a cleaning in before that. I didn't do much research, saw some bad reviews, didn't think much of it. The cleaning was fine/adequate, but suddenly I had 6-8 cavities and she could fill them right away (I think in the same appointment lol). The doctors before her had noted none needing fillings & after her noted 2, which I recently got work done for. The 2 I needed didn't align with the 6-8 she identified. My coworker visited her for the first time for a regular cleaning and right away at the same visit she upsold him on a deep cleaning.

Dr. Jang is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and conveys information in an easily understandable way. I have had better experiences here than other dentists in the area, and I've felt that billing has always been upfront and the team has checked with my insurance to make sure xrays and such are covered before they do something.

I have only good things to say about Urban Smiles! Everyone from the front desk to Dr. Maeng are extremely kind and attentive. I will be recommending Urban Smiles to friends and family.
