Aurora Dentist Office and Orthodontics

Everyone here was so very welcoming and explained everything in a way i understood. All of the staff were kind and very empathetic. The office itself was very calming and such good vibes. Shelby T. was great! Walked me through everything and genuinely cared. She worked quick and her and the team listened to all my concerns and answered every question. I am very impressed and would love to share how great they are!

Everyone I've encountered at this office has been so welcoming and friendly. I've been seen by Dr Tesar and Dr O'Brien and both have impressed me with their empathy and competence and I feel very confident entrusting them with my care. Cassidy's attention to detail and ability to remember specifics about what I need (like a bite block) make me very comfortable with her. And Denisse is absolutely lovely, always making sure I'm as comfortable as possible and looking out for my well-being! I don't think I could have found a better dentist's office!

This was my first visit with Dr. O’Brien and she was fantastic. First time with no pain on crown work. She and her assistant Ivy explained every step. They were concerned about my comfort all the time. I’m very impressed with them and will certain tell my friends. This is the first time I will not be afraid to return to a dentist. I highly recommend her. All the staff is very friendly too.

I have been going here for three years and I cannot say enough about the quality of care that I have received!!! The entire staff is kind and friendly. The place is always sparkling clean. I have had an extraction, deep cleanings, root canal, and crown replacement (I’m old and my teeth are soft). Yesterday I had a root canal and a new crown, both on the same day, and I didn’t even need Tylenol later! The work was that gentle. Love both women doctors and have had excellent hygienists and assistants.

I have never liked going to the dentist. Which explains why I have avoided going for a really long time. I was seen today for mouth pain. I had tears because I have anxiety so bad. But even though I have not had any work done yet, the whole team starting from the front desk, to the x-ray tech to Dr tesar was amazing. Every single one of them was very cautious of my high level of anxiety which probably wasn't easy. But they were very compassionate and understanding and by the time I left I was at ease. Thank you to all of you for making this a great experience thus far.

Definitely would NOT recommend. I chose this dentist when my insurance changed and at my first appointment they were pushing all sorts of deep cleanings, night guards, recommending wisdom teeth removal. The dentist I saw before my insurance switch never told me any of these issues and I see the dentist religiously every 6 months. This year I decided to try another new dentist and this dentist did not find any of the issues that Aurora Dentist Office seemed to see. Seems it’s all a money grab and they use scare tactics to get you to spend more money on unnecessary treatments. EDIT: Editing to add that I only saw one provider at this office and she was not the owner, so I cannot express these concerns for the practice as a whole, but rather on one provider only. This was from Dr. O’Brian who is no longer at the practice. If you happen to come across her at any other practice I would avoid seeing her. I would be open to giving the practice another chance.
