I have been coming to 172 NYC Dental for several years, and I can't recommend Dr. Ahn and his team highly enough! After struggling to find a dentist in NYC that I truly felt comfortable with, I was so relieved to find this practice. Dr. Ahn and his staff are always professional, friendly, and attentive, making every visit a positive experience. I couldn't recommend them more.

This was my first time going to 172 NYC Dental and I had a great experience! Dr. Mitroi was so kind and patient with me. She took the time to answer all of my questions and addressed any concerns that I had. The hygienist was also very good and thorough. I'm looking forward to making this my primary dentist!

Great experience overall! The office was timely, fast, and very friendly from start to finish. The team did a great job and made the entire visit smooth and comfortable. Dr. Danielle Mitroi was excellent — professional, caring, and thorough. Huge thanks as well to Kanika, Manee, and Katherine for being so welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

As a New Jersey resident, I happily cross the river to see Dr. Anh and his team in Manhattan—and I’d do it every time! I used to have major dental anxiety, but Dr. Anh has completely changed that for me. I actually enjoy coming to the dentist now. No pain, no stress! Dr. Anh is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and kind, with bedside manners that make you feel truly cared for. His coordinator, Katherine, and the entire team: from hygienists to assistants, are just as warm and wonderful. They’ve turned what was once a dreaded visit into a highlight. The office is conveniently located near a reasonably priced parking garage, which is perfect for us out-of-towners. Even though I pay out of pocket, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. If I had to, I’d even mortgage my house! Dr. Anh’s care is worth it all.

This New York dental clinic exceeded my expectations. The staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, and the appointment was well organized. The dentist was knowledgeable, gentle, and answered all my questions patiently. I appreciated how transparent they were about the procedure and follow-up care. I left feeling confident about my dental health and would return for future visits.

This was my first trip to 172 Madison and I left my visit making additional appointments for both my children and myself. Dr. Benjamin Ahn was so kind , thorough and worked expeditiously without making you feel like he was rushing you out the chair. The staff in general were super kind , the facility super clean and the overall vibes nice and pleasant. While Dr. Ahn was working on my Tooth I was humming to the music in the background. How am I getting a filling done and at a comfort level to want to hum a tune perplexes me lol! But it happened and I left his office feeling super satisfied at the services that were rendered.. Service was awesome and pricing awesome!!!! ! I found my new dentist 😁!

I came here in a panic last fall when I was told that I would need an onlay by another dentist, who I didn’t want to go back to after they made me grit through the pain of insufficient local anesthetic for a procedure. I was between dentists and between good dental insurance. Getting my onlay here was the best choice I could have made. Everyone in the office is so professional, kind, and soothing, exactly what I needed in that moment. Dr. Ahn is the best dentist I have ever seen - extremely competent, gentle, never in a rush, and seems to genuinely care about his patients. My past discomfort was listened to and validated, and he assured me I would be given sufficient anesthetic (I was - no pain!). His assistant Maricar had a very comforting presence and made the whole experience much more pleasant (I was super anxious going into it). Even though I have to pay out of pocket here, it is 100% worth it. I came back today as a regular patient and my hygienist was gentle and thorough. As long as I’m living in the city, I will keep coming back here. Thank you 172 NYC dental!!
