I was headed to Honolulu from Minneapolis and my front tooth (veneer) broke in the airport. I emailed Dr. Wade and he welcomed me to an after hours appointment one I arrive in Honolulu. Though it took him until 8:30pm, he stayed and got my veneer replaced. It looks better than my original veneer and he took great care to make sure it matches my other teeth perfectly. Great Dentist, Great Dental Assistant, and even the receptionist was top notch. I would recommend this business to anyone, and I might fly back to Honolulu to get further dental work, simply because this office is top notch.

I have been going to Dr. Wade for many years now and just wanted to say that he and his ENTIRE staff make the entire dental process a breeze!! My root canals and crowns along with fillings and filling replacements have been a painless experience. Doc Wade makes sure that the patient is fully comfortable and "numb" so there is no pain and stress!! Plus you can watch ESPN and other live TV shows while you are being worked on! His recent renovations in September give his office a "modern" and contemporary feel....beautiful! I will be sure to not miss any more appointments and my twice a year cleanings!!

I've been avoiding the dentist for years out of fear and anxiety due to some not so great experiences. In fact, before today, I'd only been to the dentist twice in the last 6-7 years. BUT, my experience at Dr. Takenishi's office today changed everything. My hygienist was very warm, always checked-in with me to see how I was doing, and actually took the time to speak with me about what she was seeing/doing. Dr. Takenishi was the same way. And even though I have some issues we'll be working to address in the coming weeks, they always shared with me the positives and it made a huge difference. I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually looking forward to going back and getting my teeth and gums back to where they should be. Thank you guys very much!

My experience at Dr. Wade Takenishi's office was incomparable to any other dental office I have ever been to. He and his staff are very friendly, and willing to go above and beyond to help each patient on a better path to healthy oral care. I'm a little embarrassed to say that all of my previous dentists and their entire offices never gave me the proper education on taking care of my teeth, and now I am paying for it. Dr. Wade and his staff have been so persistent in helping me improve my oral health, and I could not be more thankful for these changes in the right direction. As for the dental appointment experience, his staff are very welcoming, there is little to no wait, and all including Dr. Wade are informing you of what is going on all the time. (No frightful guessing!) The dentist has always been a tense experience, but now that I see Dr. Wade, all of that has changed. I can eagerly say that I recommend Dr. Wade Takenishi to anyone; he and his entire staff are THEE BEST!

I don't know about you, but typically I don't walk out of the dentist's office thinking "What a wonderful experience!" but that is exactly how I felt after seeing Dr. Takenishi, Tracy, and the rest of the staff this morning. I had gone in for a second opinion and as you can imagine, that usually isn't a pleasant experience either. However, Tracy made me feel totally at ease, taking the time to ask questions and commiserate about my previous less-than-stellar experience at another dentist's practice that led me here. Dr. Takenishi then came in and after completing his own examination, spent time asking me about my concerns and preferred approach to dentistry. There was no pressure or sales pitch from Dr. Takenishi, and I felt that this is the right fit for me. *Bonus* they also have Japanese speaking staff!

My visit went very well and I'm more than happy with everyone involved. I don't know if you could find a better group of people to care of your dental needs. I highly recommend Dr. Takenishi and his talented staff.
